Capture Your Grief, Day 3

Today's topic is After Loss Self Portrait. Here it is:


So, I dyed my hair (and blogged about it here) a couple of weeks ago. It is now darker than it has ever been. I won't rehash the meaning behind my decision, but I basically wanted an external transformation to represent the internal change. I am no longer the lighthearted, fun-loving blonde I used to be. Not that brunettes are brooding and miserable, but...this is a drastic hair color change for me.

Also, I am a smiler. I ALWAYS smile in pictures. I can't imagine smiling for a picture now.
